Cape Town Chapter Raises R155,000 at Annual Charity Derby

As explained by the Chairman of the Cape Town Chapter, Amelia Beattie at the event, this year the money would be split differently. Habitat for Humanity will receive R50 000 to build a house and the balance of

R100 000 will be paid into the Womens Property Network Education Trust. This will be the first donation to the new Trust.

"We salute OMIGPI and Nedbank Corporate Finance for once again supporting us as main sponsors. Both these organisations under the banner of the bigger Old Mutual supports the vision of Women's Property Network and their support for the evening is testimony to that! I would also like to thank my committee for all the hard work in putting the event together. See the photographs in the gallery.

WOULD YOU AND YOUR COLLEAGUES LIKE TO BE A PART OF BUILDING THE WPN HOUSE FOR HABITAT?

Our house will be built from 13 - 17 August 2007 in the Mfuleni Community. If you are interested please mail Debbie Wall Smith on Debbie@wsproperty.co.za. Come along, you only need to spend one day building. It's fun and so rewarding!

Have a wonderful week,

Amelia Beattie

Chairman - WPN Cape chapter
